Kindness Klues Relay Race Character Activity

Do you want a creative way to teach your child or students to be kind? This activity is the perfect way to turn character traits into fun!

Kindness Klues Relay Race is an activity that teaches the students what kindness means through 4 different games and activities. This is what they learn:

You don’t know what someone else is going through.
Serve others
When we are unkind, we should say we are sorry and fix the mistake.
In Kindness Klue #1, the students are reminded that we have not walked in someone else’s shoes and so we to pay attention to others to see if they are having a bad day.
In Kindness Klue #2, the children are tasked with doing a kind act for someone on their team. Sometimes, we need to be intentional in order to see the needs of others.
In Kindness Klue #3, the students learn that being kind is the target and what we need to do when we miss that target. This activity was a favorite of everyone’s and included balloons! That’s always a hit!

In the last Kindness Klue, they are given a set of word dominos (included with this activity) with kind words and unkind words printed on them. This is a vocabulary activity where they will work together as a team linking the dominos with alike words or colors.
